CAFAM北京中央美術学院美術館での展示のお知らせ
北京中央美術学院美術館（CAFAMUSEUM）での展示が終わりました。展示作品「扑朔迷离 / whirling 」では2019年の中央美術学院主催の日本レジデンスの機会をきっかけに、近代における日本と中国の美術交流史に興味をもち、2年間母校である中央美術学院の前身である北京美術学校と諸機関への調査と取材を通して制作した作品です。
戦前北京美術学校の副学長にもなったとある日本画家は当時の中国美術界と密接な交流があるにも関わらず、現在日中両国であまり知られていません。私は彼の子孫を探し、取材し、彼の作品、日記を見つけました。彼がなぜ北京に行き、副学長になったのか、アジアの近代とは何か、そして私はなぜ中央美術学院にいったのか。
投影される映像は鏡の反射の透過の過程によって絶えず、連続的にくりぬかれ、同時に別の 反射で部分的に拡大されていく。情報伝達における変異とズレ、そして錯乱する反射イメージのなかに、近代 の日中両国の複雑な関係性を再考させられるのです。
My exhibition at the Central Academy of Fine Arts Mseumin Beijing has ended. In the exhibited my work "Whiling", was came from my interesting in the art history exchange between Japan and China in modern times, taking the opportunity of the Japan Residence organaized by the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2019. And I research two years for Beijing Art School which is the predecessor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. My art work was made through research and interviews with the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts and various institutions.
One Japanese oil painter in modern times who became the vice president of the Beijing Art School before the war is not well known in both Japan and China, despite his close contact with the Chinese art world at that time. I searched for his descendants, interviewed him, and found his work, a diary. Why did he go to Beijing and become Vice President, what is modernity in Asia, and why did I go to the Central Academy of Fine Arts?
